The sound level table shows the decibel values of typical noises, and at which point noises becomes a danger. From just 55 dB there is a risk to your health. |

Often we are exposed to much louder noise in our free time than at work. Music at clubs or rock concerts cannot be loud enough, engines are given “sporty” tuning and at home and in the garden we are surrounded by loud noises such as lawnmowers, compost shredders, leaf vacuums, drills and angle grinders. Motorbiking and driving a convertible with the top down also expose us to high noise levels due to the wind noises. |
